Hopefully it will kick the shit out of the BRITTLE BIRTH-CAKES remix EP that Trent did one night in a Dunkin Donuts with a portable tape recorder and his discman. It's just ambient noise from the store (some arguement between the clientelle and the manager about how the frosting tasted like felch) and a loop of Tori singing "nine inch nails" over and over again. Methinks Trent just kept hitting the "scan" button over and over again. What fun... over and over again. over and over again. Speaking of BRITTLE BIRTH-CAKES, I believe the title is *not* referring to the shit they wiped on Jesus' face when he was crucified, but in fact a euphemism for dried placenta. Anyways, apparently one of the tracks on HUNGRY FOR PINK is yet another reference to NIN (BFPT, rather). It's called "Rod," referring to previous BFPT works like "Terrible Lay" ("hey ROD! why are you etc. etc.), "Closer to Rod," and of course, "Help Me I Am In Rod." Of course, those three previously mentioned songs refer to that fateful night when Rod Stewart seduced, screwed, and dumped Trent... "Rod, sometimes you just don't come..." etc. The song in which "nirvana" is referred to is in fact a cover of a Death In June song called "All Alone in Her Nirvana." Um -- c.s.y.
